Daniel, try to evaluate Radek's analysis (#3720) with respect to our ultimate goal - whether to separate voiced/unvoiced "ř" at phone level...

Analysis shown that the unexpected behavior occurred mostly due to the use of other units which were chosen to minimize the overall cost (TC+CC), when the appropriate variant of [ř] was used (byt not by the [ř] itself).
To focus on the effect of [ř] (and others) phone replacements, we will analyse synthetic phrases with all the units selected by the current selection setting, except the unit for which replacement is considered (the variant mismatch will be forced). Once the question of replacement suitability/necessity is answered, we will focus on the phenomena caused by the exchange of other units.
Further research will thus continue in #3763.
