"ranou" sounds like "ranu"

Description
Voice: Jan
Description:
Word "ranou" sounds like "ranu" in the sentence "Další ostrou ranou přinutil couvnout dozadu".
The phone [y] (i.e. diphtong "ou") came from sentence oznam06615_00.
Listening to the words in the source utterance, I hear [y] correctly.

I must honestly say that I hear "ranou" with the diphthong, not with a monophthongal [u] in the synthesized sentence. That is also supported by the clear formant movement, especially F2 which drops from ca. 1130 Hz at the onset to ca. 840 Hz at the offset (see the attached spectrogram of the portion [nou]).
Note: This is from the mobile version. The rev755 version is similar in the formant movement (with an even greater drop in F2 from 1220 to 840 Hz). However, the [o]-portion of the diphthong is shorter (attached file nou2), which changes the perception a bit. So we're probably dealing with relative temporal salience in this case.
